Wesley Haunted House

We are recruiting volunteers to help plan and run our annual Wesley Haunted House.

Every year close to 100 students from the University of Illinois and Parkland College help host this incredible experience for the community. All proceeds go to support Wesley Evening Food Pantry. This truly scary experience takes place in the NeoGothic building of the Wesley Foundation located one block East of Illini Union. In 2011 the Haunted House will operate on the nights of Oct 27 – 29.

Currently we are seeking applicants in key leadership roles. We are looking for dedicated, self-driven individuals with leadership skills who are willing to commit the time and devotion that it takes to pull off a top quality Haunted House. In addition to completing the tasks assigned to their positions, leaders will need to commit to weekly planning meeting in September and October. In turn, the staff at Wesley will surround you with the support that you need to succeed. In addition to the joy that comes from organizing such an event, we are also happy to vouch for excellent leadership and to write glowing references for jobs applications. Volunteering looks great on a resume. Leading volunteers looks even better.
